Is this truly my life? I have to pinch hit myself constantly to remind myself that yes, this is indeed real and you are actually, physically in London at the end of the 2012. A holiday to remember, I’d say. And it’s been bloody good so far: Edinburgh, a stopover in York to see the York Minster, and now Londontown. So far the now six person entourage (parents, sister, grandmother, and Dutch host sister Nintendo Adinda) have rode the London Eye, seen Big Ben, peaked down 10 Downing Street, visited the historic Churchill War Rooms, hit up the National Gallery, and watched the family favorite “The Holiday” on television (which looking back is pretty ironic – those who have seen it would understand).  Tomorrow the family is off to the Tower of London (will we make it out alive? Who knows!) and Westminster and of course, the New Years Eve fireworks shot off from the London Eye.
